This is about THE BEST protein product on the market.
I just want to tell you I've had a lot of protein products out there. You generally get what you pay. You pay more you get something better, you pay less you get something inferior. I take protein products from GNC, their lean body shakes are great but have 6g of fat per serving which I think is a lot.
They also have their sustained release protein products which I think are great too. Before going to bed it doesn't hurt to have a sustained release shake to release protein through the night, making muscle at night. Also, first thing in the morning when your muscle is starved of protein, it's good to have one then too. Trust me, check the link to the sustained release shakes they are only about 1 buck per shake and you get about 24g of milk protein which is fantastic.
I read a study that proved that milk protein which tastes a lot better than whey protein is just as good as whey protein in generating muscle. The only thing else to consider is that a lot of the whey proteins contain branched chain amino acids so those might give it a boost; however, the milk protein tastes much better to me. Cinnamon toast, sustained release protein from GNC tastes like the best thing ever, it tastes GREAT!
If you really want the BEST milk protein on the market, check out Amazon's core protein shakes. The Elite Core Protein Shake is appropriate for bodybuilding and has 230 calories, 3.5g fat, 2 of which are saturated, 9g carbs, 2 of which are from fiber, 7g total sugar and a whopping 42 grams of protein. I think 42 grams of protein for 230 calories is unbeatable. The chocolate flavor is BOMB, the vanilla is fine and I haven't tried strawberry but I bet it's fine too. I try to drink about three of these a day for an additional 130 grams of protein a day. What's cool is that Alberton's and Safeway also stock these protein shakes on the shelves in the isle with soda. Sometimes there is a mini-fridge with cold ones but there are not enough to buy at once. Trust me these are expensive at Safeway, almost 5 bucks a piece. OUCH! If you buy them from Amazon you are almost getting them for three dollars a piece and up to four dollars a piece which is a great deal. Try them out and let me know what you think.
